Rupee expands shortcoming against US dollar, slips 13 paise
Forex merchants said a firm dollar in abroad markets, in front of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell discourse at the yearly worldwide national bank meeting in Jackson Hole later in the day, weighed on the rupee.
The rupee debilitated by 13 paise to 70.24 against the U.S. dollar in opening exchange on Friday on expanded interest for the American cash from merchants and banks.

In the interim, the benchmark BSE Sensex withdrew from record high by falling 48.88 focuses, or 0.13 for every penny, to 38,287.78 in early exchange on Friday.
