Birthday: Prime Minister Narendra Modi who turns 68 today will set out on a two-day visit to his parliamentary body electorate Varanasi from today.
Upon his landing here, Modi will go to Narur town where he will interface with offspring of a grade school. From here, the Prime Minister will go to Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) visitor house where he will communicate with the children from his embraced towns under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana – Jayapur, Nagpur, and Kakrahia.
PM Modi will likewise go to a unique screening of 'Chalo Jeete Hain'- a 32-minute short film enlivened by his initial life. The motion picture will likewise be screened on a few TV stations today.

As per an announcement issued by Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the Prime Minister will on Tuesday establish the framework stone of a few undertakings worth Rs 500 crore. The occasion will be held at the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) amphitheater.
"Among the activities are Integrated Power Development Scheme for Puraani Kashi and an Atal Incubation Center at the BHU. The undertakings for which the establishment stone will be laid is the Regional Ophthalmology Center at the BHU," said the announcement.
