All issues raised by Cong on Rafale elucidated by SC: Say Swaraj

Declaring that each issue raised by the Congress on Rafale bargain has been cleared up by the Supreme Court, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Thursday said in Rajya Sabha that there is no discussion in the issue, with the exception of in psyches of the resistance party pioneers.

To a question raised by Shiv Sena part Sanjay Raut if there was any talk on the Rafale bargain amid the ongoing visit of French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian to India, Ms. Swaraj stated, "There was no discourse on the issue." 

"On that day, the Supreme Court decision (on Rafale bargain) was articulated. He (French Minister) was exceptionally glad. He communicated delight and felt there was no need talk," she said. To another question on the Jaitapur Nuclear Power venture, Ms. Swaraj said that an assention was marked on March 22, 2016 to set up a plant. France's EDF and India's NPCL are investigating it. 

"Six EPR units are to be set with every unit having a limit of 1650 megawatt. When it is prepared, it will be the world's biggest atomic plant," she said. The venture was evaluated in March a year ago, when the rate of intensity per unit and setting up of a reference plant were additionally examined. "We will continue in the wake of seeing the model plant. We have chosen about the dates," she included.
