Australia series not a genuine trial of the Indian cricket group, says Venkatesh Prasad

Previous Indian pacer Venkatesh Prasad has said that while he valued the Indian cricket group's ongoing Test triumph in Australia and the diligent work and exertion that went into accomplishing the triumph,

it was anything but a genuine trial of the Indian group. He said that Australian side that the Indian confronted was not practically identical to the Australia of the 1990s.

"In any case, I welcome the triumph and the endeavors that Kohli group put to accomplish it. Be that as it may, the present Australian group is not the slightest bit practically identical to the one during the 1990s. The Australian squad was far more grounded at that point, with stalwarts like Mark Waugh, Steve Waugh, Brett Lee, Shane Warne and Ricky Ponting, than the one we have today. Thinking about this factor, I would state that India's ongoing battle with Australia was not genuine test," he said.
