International news: 6.7 magnitude earthquake hits Chile's drift

6.7-extent earthquake tremor shook urban communities and towns on Chile's northern drift late Saturday, yet there were no quick reports of real harm.

World News headline: Chile's National Emergency Office protectively requested the departure of a stretch of drift close to the city of Coquimbo yet later canceled it. Specialists said the tremor didn't have the qualities that would create a torrent. 

The U.S. Topographical Survey said the epicenter of the size 6.7 shudder was 15.6 km (9.7 miles) south-southwest of Coquimbo, and it had a profundity of 53 km. It struck at 7-32 p.m. neighborhood time. 

Chile's seismological administration put the quality of the shake at size 6.8. It was felt emphatically in northern Chile, as indicated by internet based life and press reports.
