Chhattisgarh Assembly Polls 2018 :71.93% turnout recorded in stage 2

Around 65% voter turnout was recorded till 5 pm in the second and last period of the Chhattisgarh Assembly surveys,

A turnout of 71.93% was recorded till 6 pm in the second period of Assembly decisions in Chhattisgarh, and surveying stayed episode free, the Election Commission says. Tending to a public interview in New Delhi, Deputy Election Commissioner Umesh Sinha says the surveying rate is probably going to rise further as various individuals were still in the line for casting a ballot. He says the surveying rate for this stage is marginally higher than that recorded amid 2013 which was 71.13%.

The EC says with the November 20 surveying rate the aggregate normal turnout for Chhattisgarh has been 74.17%, which may go up further.
