Israeli movie producer Dan Wolman was displayed the Lifetime Achievement Award at the debut function of the 49th version of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2018 held here on Tuesday evening.
The celebration was formally introduced by Goa Governor Mridula Sinha, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Goa Minister for Public Works Sudin Dhavlikar.
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and chief Karan Johar were available at the capacity.
The jury for the International Competition, involving John Irvin, Adrian Sitaru, Polish executive Robert Glinski, Anna Ferraioli Ravel and Indian part Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, were congratulated on the event.
Israel is the Country of Focus during the current year's IFFI while the State in Focus is Jharkhand. The opening service was trailed by the debut of The Aspern Papers, coordinated by Julien Landais. The executive and cast of the film were additionally congratulated at the debut.
